2012 Milestone #9...Art Trip!!

What's so exciting about an art trip you might ask?  Normally, probably nothing.  Lindsay's high school art class took a trip to Salado, Austin, San Antonio, and Fort Worth the weekend of March 22-24.  I'm not sure Lindsay had even fully recuperated from her mission trip and New York trip yet, but she was very excited to spend time with her friends.

The point of the trip was to develop their art skills in drawing and photography and just to have lots of FUN!  The first night they stayed at the Stagecoach Inn in Salado and the second night they stayed at the El Tropacaro in San Antonio.  In addition to focusing on their sketches and photography, they also went to a glass-blowing facility and horseback riding (in Fort Worth, of course).

But the main attraction for Lindsay and some of her friends on this trip was meeting The All American Rejects while in San Antonio.  Lindsay has been a fan of this group since middle school, and she was BEYOND EXCITED!!

And one more exciting twist to their art trip....while eating at a restaurant in Fort Worth, some of the girls met Bob from The Biggest Loser!!
